The new Saigon
The morning of students in Saigon is nothing too special. However, it is often said that Saigon gets up very early is totally correct. Students in Saigon often wake up very early because the attendance time is usually 7 AM. Unlike other countries that often travel by public transportation, students in Saigon walk on foot, some ride bicycles to school by themselves, others are transported to school by their parents. Perhaps they have to wake up so early in the morning, so everyone's faces are always very listless. But when they met their friends, I don't know what kind of energy motivates the students to brighten up immediately and talk with each other like machines ahihi
Very different from today's students who only need to wear ao dai every Monday to salute the flag or on holidays. In the past, Ao Dai was worn every single morning and the pure whiteness and beauty of Vietnamese women really made every morning a feeling of purity to everyone around. Riding on bicycles with a willowy Ao Dai's flaps is really a dear traditional image that perhaps no Vietnamese people do not feel heart-fluttering because of it.
Morning in Saigon also has a very unique look of itself. From 4 to 5 A.M. we have seen the sporadic of silhouettes of vendors and the market has begun to put goods out to sell. Besides ,scattered somewhere are middle-aged people jogging and exercising in the park or along the main roads. Then, around 6-7 am, the traffic began to be noisy, the people of Saigon started a new day by going to work or taking their children to school which is also a very interesting time to see clearly a Saigon waking up in the gentle sunshine and fresh air.
Having the same bustle, but old Saigon has a very different appearance. A few decades ago, the streets of Saigon were crowded with cars, cyclos and scooters that looked extremely vintage and perhaps it is a trend that today's youth in the world in general and in Vietnam very enjoyable in particular. Not only vehicles, but the costumes of that time also brought people so many nostalgic feelings about that newly liberated Saigon. Only the landscape changes, but Saigon is always as bustling as it is and the people of Saigon are always so cute and simple. In the end, the memory of a beautiful Saigon that day will always be in the memory of each of us.
